I am trained in:

Narrative Therapy: A highly dignified form of therapy that positions the client as the expert in their life (rather than the therapist) and supports clients to re-author themselves to overcome problems.

Internal Family Systems Therapy: A incredibly respectful form of psychotherapy that helps clients to heal and harmonise the parts of their inner world. Parts are respectfully viewed as the ‘internal family’ of the clients inner ‘system’ and always have protective/adaptive qualities.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy: Concerned with empowering clients to have a meaningful life, ACT is a mindfulness-based psychotherapy that encourages clients to embrace their thoughts and feelings rather than avoiding or suppressing them.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing: Considered the ‘gold standard’ for trauma processing by unblocking traumatic memories. It is highly respectful in that clients do not have to retell their trauma, and activates the mind/brain natural healing abilities.

Is it time to re/discover you? Let’s do something about it

Whether or not you feel confident in navigating the problems you’re facing, sometimes it helps to get a little help.

When you feel like you’re stuck, lost your purpose, can’t shake something you’ve been carrying all your life, taken too many hits, or when life no longer feels passionate or possible, how can you get to where you want to be?

Maybe it’s time we team up.

Whether it’s just having a chat, shining a light on dark corners, unpacking shame, or exploring new directions, we can work together to get you unstuck. Let’s re/connect you with your creativity, what you’re proud of, what’s important to you, your playfulness, your curiosity… and work on what’s getting in the way.

As a therapist, my job is to facilitate you being/becoming your own mental health expert. That also means, I can’t do this job without you. I need help from your knowledge, your skills, your creativity, and your courage.

What does that mean, that I can’t do this without you? Well…

I’ve always believed that my biggest teachers of courage and healing have been my clients… My style of therapy is truly a legacy of every client I have ever worked with. This has been one of the tremendous privileges and honours of my life. Many of my most inspirational teachers are those who have been impacted by trauma and adversity – all those who courageously went through survival school and graduated as survival psychologists, who moved on to post-traumatic growth to re/discover themselves”.

Therapy can help.

Do you have difficulty managing big emotions? Are you constantly plagued by shame? Are you feeling numb, lost, or confused? Is anxiety, depression, or anger something that you frequently struggle with? Yes, therapy can absolutely help with these problems, and more.

Sometimes we need a professional to walk some of the journey with us, especially with problems coming from adversity and trauma.

I see positive change happen with clients every day. Come say hello to re/discover you.

I acknowledge the Wadandi People (Saltwater People) of the Noongar Nation as the traditional custodians of the land where I live, work, surf, and play. I pay my respect to their Elders past and present and their ongoing connection and care for Wadandi Boodja. I acknowledge that First Nations sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal Land.
